DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To provide a professional approach to work concerning areas such as attitude, dependability, and appearance.
• To provide a level of service to all customers that meets the Co-operative’s standards in courtesy and efficiency.
• To maintain a constant alert against unauthorized removal of merchandise.
• Some heavy lifting is required.
• Complete safety training as required.
• Provide information, assistance and customer service in a manner that will promote the sale of merchandise in a friendly and courteous way.
• Become familiar with all hardware merchandise (plumbing, electrical, paint, etc.) and maintain a high level of product knowledge.
• Perform key cutting and paint mixing tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working with the public.
• Must be available for work a variety of shifts including weekends.
