Student Cashier/Pump Attendant

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pump attendant duties, propane filling, opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure coffee counter, coffee machines and slush machines are cleaned and filled at all times.
• Perform general housekeeping duties on the interior and exterior of the building.
• Maintain constant alert against the unauthorized removal of merchandise.
• Provide products, assistance and service to customers.
• Complete safety training as required.
• Unpack, check, price and prepare merchandise for sale
• Maintain good housekeeping and sanitation standards in the work area
• Must be willing to obtain Food Safe, Propane, TDG and WHMIS certification

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer, till system and peripherals
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 25 pounds; lift up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis
• Required to be on one’s feet for an extended period of time
• Must be willing and able to work mornings, days, evenings and weekends shifts.
• Exposure to temperature extremes (store temperatures, outside temperatures, etc.
